United Way Women Who Rock salutes extraordinary young parents in our community and empowers them to continue their education through the Women Who Rock Child Care Scholarship, which underwrites child care and resources for deserving young parents committed to post-secondary education.

If you are a young parent between the ages of 16 and 25, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and are a citizen or legal resident, please consider applying. For information on the scholarship, the application requirements, and to apply, visit here.

Small Changes – Big Impact

Recipients of this scholarship receive financial coaching through a partnership with United Way THRIVE and The Women’s Resource Center. The United Way helps women and girls make choices toward becoming independent, productive, and financially stable. In our programs, women acquire the essential financial knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to make sound decisions and improve their lives – for themselves and for generations to come.
