The National Day of Prayer is Ours
WHERE
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.
WHEN
Kiwanis will positively influence communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.
WHO
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
WHY
Impacting communities — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults with disabilities.
The mission of the National Day of Prayer Task Force is: ‘Centered on the Lord Jesus Christ, the National Day of Prayer Task Force exists to mobilize unified public and personal prayer for America.’
Become a Person of Prayer
A Person of Prayer is an individual who desires to learn more about the power of prayer and apply it in everyday life.
The Scriptures tell us that where two or more are gathered, He is in our midst (Matthew 18:20). Mobilizing prayer can happen in your home, business, church, park, or community meeting location, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. Start small and keep it simple. Remember, we are here to help you. Join us on the National Day of Prayer hosted by The Woodlands Kiwanis.
Mobilize Prayer: Join our Community Leaders
Teach the children of Montgomery County the power of prayer. Leaders lead by example: Attend our National Day of Prayer event.
As a nonprofit, we depend upon the generous contributions of people like you to extend our efforts. Your gifts allow us to continue the mission God has called us to – mobilizing prayer in America while encouraging personal accountability to the children in Montgomery County.
What People Are Saying

“It has been an honor and privilege serving the children of Montgomery County. Through High School Key Clubs or our “Hey Buddy!” Bear Program, helping kids grow and succeed, is at the heart of everything we do.”
